Titan Company Shares Rise on Strong Q2 Results Driven by Jewellery Sales and Festive Demand

Titan Company Limited, a prominent Tata Group firm, experienced a surge in its share price following the announcement of its Q2 FY26 financial results. The company posted a significant 43% increase in consolidated net profit, reaching Rs 1,006 crore, well above market expectations. This profit jump was underpinned by a substantial 25% year-on-year revenue growth, with the jewellery segment being the primary growth engine.

The jewellery division, which forms the largest part of Titan's revenue, saw its sales climb to Rs 16,522 crore from Rs 12,771 crore in the same quarter last year. Overall, the share of studded jewellery in domestic sales remained stable at 34%.

In addition to the financial highlights, Titan announced a significant management update. The Board has approved the appointment of Ajoy Chawla as the new Managing Director, effective January 1, 2026, succeeding C.K. Venkataraman upon his retirement.
