Zaydn Raises $681,000 Seed Funding to Scale Sneaker Brand

Delhi-based footwear brand Zaydn has secured $681,000 in a seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures. The startup plans to use the capital to boost production, expand inventory, and grow its presence across online marketplaces like Myntra and Amazon. The company, which has reported annual revenue exceeding ₹10 crore, is now focused on capturing a larger share of the competitive Indian sneaker market.

Zaydn, a Delhi-based startup focused on sneakers for the Gen-Z market, has raised $681,000 in a seed funding round. Inflection Point Ventures led the investment, with additional participation from investors including BeyondSeed and Private Angels. As a private company, Zaydn is not listed on public stock exchanges, meaning this funding update does not involve any share price movement or direct impact on the equity markets.

Founded in 2022 by Ankit Dass and Vidushi Chaudhary, the brand has transitioned from a self-funded venture to reporting annual revenue of over ₹10 crore. The newly raised capital is earmarked for scaling business operations, specifically by increasing production capacity and inventory levels. This is a vital step for consumer brands that rely on maintaining consistent stock levels to meet customer demand on major platforms such as Amazon, Myntra, and Nykaa.

Beyond production, the company plans to use the funds to strengthen its working capital and enhance its performance marketing. A core part of the brand’s strategy involves expanding its direct-to-consumer (D2C) channels, which allows the company to reach its audience directly, often reducing the need for traditional retail intermediaries.

The Indian footwear market remains highly competitive. Zaydn operates in a space crowded by established global giants and other emerging domestic brands, all vying for the attention of young consumers. To succeed, the company must effectively manage the execution risks associated with scaling. This includes maintaining steady supply chain management, ensuring consistent product quality, and managing cash flow to support its growth ambitions without facing liquidity pressure.

The success of this funding round will be measured by how efficiently Zaydn uses the capital to scale its business. The key monitorable for the company’s stakeholders will be whether this expansion translates into sustainable revenue growth and better brand visibility in a market where consumer trends shift quickly and competition is intense.
