V-Guard Industries reported a 71% jump in second-quarter profit to ₹111.67 crore on a 38.2% revenue increase to ₹1,852.89 crore. While volume and pricing gains drove the growth, the company faces potential margin pressure from geopolitical instability in West Asia affecting logistics and supply costs.
V-Guard Industries, known for its electrical appliances like voltage stabilizers and water heaters, delivered strong financial results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2026. The company’s consolidated net profit rose 71% to ₹111.67 crore compared to the same period last year. Revenue from operations also saw a significant boost, reaching ₹1,852.89 crore, which is a 38.2% increase from ₹1,340.92 crore in the second quarter of the previous year.
For the first half of fiscal year 2027, the company maintained a steady growth path. It recorded a total revenue of ₹3,663.54 crore, up 30.5% compared to the same period last year. Profit for this six-month period climbed 73.9% to reach ₹241.92 crore. This performance suggests that the company’s dual focus on growing sales volumes and adjusting product pricing has effectively supported its financial health so far this year.
Managing Cost Headwinds and Logistics
While the demand for its electrical and kitchen appliances remains robust, the company is dealing with external cost pressures. The ongoing conflict in West Asia has introduced complexities in global logistics and supply chain operations, which can increase transportation costs. Management, led by Chairman and Managing Director Mithun K Chittilappilly, has highlighted these logistical uncertainties as a key factor to watch. The leadership team is implementing strategies to manage these supply chain risks and protect profit margins.
For investors, the key monitorables will be how the company navigates raw material price volatility, such as copper and aluminum, which are essential for electrical products. Additionally, because the company’s product portfolio includes seasonal items like fans and air coolers, demand patterns during the upcoming quarters will be a significant indicator of continued growth. The ability of the company to pass on any potential cost increases to customers, while maintaining sales volume, will determine the stability of its profit margins in the coming months.
