TTK Prestige Shares Jump 14% on 65% Profit Surge in Q2

TTK Prestige stock rallied 14% on Friday after the company reported a 65% rise in quarterly net profit to ₹104.4 crore. The strong performance was driven by robust domestic sales and improved operating margins, though investors may track raw material cost trends closely.

Shares of kitchenware maker TTK Prestige saw a sharp move on Friday, surging 14% following the company's release of financial results for the quarter ending September 30, 2026. This positive market reaction followed a 65.2% jump in consolidated net profit, which climbed to ₹104.4 crore from ₹63.2 crore in the same period last year.

The company’s revenue growth also remained steady, with operations bringing in ₹1,008.96 crore, a 21% increase compared to the previous year. This revenue growth was primarily supported by domestic demand, which contributed ₹944.5 crore to the total sales figure, while exports made up a smaller portion of the business.

Operating efficiency was a highlight for the quarter, with the company's core operating profit (EBITDA) rising 71% to ₹171.7 crore. Consequently, operating margins improved to 17.9%, up from 12.8% in the same quarter last year. These results were achieved despite a minor setback in the form of a ₹2 crore impairment charge linked to the company’s investment in GramyaHaat’s compulsorily convertible debentures.

With a strong liquidity position of over ₹755 crore, including short-term liquid investments, the firm is currently focusing on expanding its product range by introducing seven new stock-keeping units. This financial cushion provides the company with room for growth and investment in its existing portfolio.

While the recent performance is positive, investors may consider certain business risks. The kitchenware sector is sensitive to the prices of raw materials like aluminum and stainless steel, and any significant rise in these costs could put pressure on profit margins. Additionally, the company's future growth depends heavily on consumer demand, particularly in rural markets where spending on household items can be volatile. Intense competition within the industry also remains a factor that could influence pricing and market share in the coming quarters.
