TTK Prestige Q1 Profit Surges 123%; Geojit Retains 'Buy'

TTK Prestige reported strong Q1 FY27 results with revenue rising 33.6% to Rs 814 crore and net profit jumping 122.8%. Domestic demand and a focus on premium products drove the growth, leading Geojit Financial Services to maintain a 'Buy' rating with a target price of Rs 749.

TTK Prestige Ltd. delivered a strong financial performance in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2027, highlighting resilience in its domestic operations despite challenges in the international market. The company reported a consolidated revenue of Rs 813.9 crore, marking a 33.6% increase compared to the same period last year. This growth was largely driven by a 35.6% jump in domestic sales, where demand for kitchen appliances, particularly induction cooktops, remained robust.

Domestic Strength and 'Judge' Brand Momentum

A key driver of the company’s recent performance is its successful push into the mass-market segment through the 'Judge' brand. Revenue from the 'Judge' brand grew by 89.9% year-on-year to Rs 34.6 crore, demonstrating that the company’s strategy to reposition and expand this brand is gaining traction with consumers. At the same time, the company continues to focus on its 'Prestige' Xclusive retail network, which serves as a major distribution pillar for its premium product offerings.

However, the company’s export business faced headwinds, with revenue declining 17.9% to Rs 12.8 crore. This downturn was linked to persistent shipping and logistics disruptions, which continue to create uncertainty for international trade flows.

Profitability and Analyst Outlook

Profitability metrics showed significant improvement, with the company's Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) rising by 102.3% to Rs 81.6 crore. The EBITDA margin expanded by 340 basis points to 10.0%, as the company successfully navigated approximately 8% commodity inflation through selective price increases and a shift toward higher-value, premium products. The reported Profit After Tax (PAT) climbed 122.8% year-on-year to Rs 59 crore.

Following these results, Geojit Financial Services maintained a 'Buy' rating on the stock with a target price of Rs 749. Analysts at the firm noted that the company’s healthy cash generation allows it to self-fund essential investments in capacity expansion, distribution, and product development without relying on heavy external debt.

Risks and Monitorables

While the Q1 performance was strong, investors should track several factors that could impact future quarters. Commodity inflation remains a primary risk, as rising costs for key raw materials like steel and aluminum can pressure profit margins if the company cannot pass those costs to consumers. Additionally, the ongoing logistics issues in the export market and the highly competitive nature of the Indian kitchen appliance sector are important factors. The company's ability to maintain its margin improvement through continued premiumization and effective cost management will be a key area for shareholders to monitor in the coming quarters.
