Snitch Acquires Berrylush to Enter Women's Fashion Market

Direct-to-consumer menswear brand Snitch has acquired women's fashion label Berrylush to diversify its product portfolio. This acquisition allows Snitch to leverage its supply chain and retail infrastructure to scale the brand. The deal follows Snitch's recent $40 million Series B funding round and strong financial growth in the fiscal year ending March 2026.

Bengaluru-based fashion brand Snitch has officially acquired women's apparel label Berrylush, marking a major entry into the women's clothing segment. This deal represents the first significant shift for the company, which has primarily built its reputation in the direct-to-consumer menswear space. While the financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, the company confirmed that Berrylush will continue to operate under its existing brand identity while integrating into the broader Snitch infrastructure.

Scaling Through Operational Integration

The strategic focus of this acquisition is to combine Berrylush’s established presence in categories like dresses, tops, and co-ords with the operational expertise of the Snitch team. By providing access to its established supply chain, technology stack, and omnichannel retail network, Snitch aims to accelerate the growth of Berrylush. According to the company, this move was chosen as a more efficient alternative to launching a new brand from the ground up, as it allows them to leverage an existing market foundation.

Siddharth Dungarwal, the founder and CEO of Snitch, will work alongside Berrylush co-founder Anusha Chandrashekar during this transition. The company has referred to this new phase as "Berrylush 2.0," with plans to apply the same growth strategies that drove its own success in the menswear sector to the women's fashion category.

Financial Context and Recent Funding

This acquisition comes after a period of rapid financial growth for Snitch. In June 2025, the company secured $40 million in a Series B funding round led by 360 ONE Asset, with continued support from investors including IvyCap Ventures and SWC Global. The capital was raised to fuel expansion, and this acquisition is a direct outcome of that capital allocation strategy.

Financial performance data indicates strong momentum for the brand. For the fiscal year ending March 2026, Snitch reported unaudited operating revenue of Rs 900 crore, showing a significant jump from the Rs 498 crore reported in the previous fiscal year. This represents an approximate 81% year-on-year growth.

Investor Monitorables

As Snitch moves into a new category, the integration process will be a key factor for stakeholders to watch. Investors and observers will look for updates on how the company manages the cost of integrating Berrylush's supply chain without hurting overall profit margins. Furthermore, the company’s ability to maintain its growth trajectory while managing the complexities of a multi-brand model—spanning both menswear and women's fashion—will be critical. Future updates on retail store expansion, product innovation in the women's segment, and the efficiency of the combined supply chain will provide insights into the long-term success of this acquisition.
