Snabbit Disrupts Beauty Market with On-Demand Services

Snabbit is bringing its fast home-service expertise to the beauty industry, aiming to replace traditional appointment scheduling with immediate at-home options. The company will focus on popular services like threading, waxing, facials, and hair styling, seeking to become a major player in a market eager for greater convenience. This move leverages Snabbit's core strength in delivering services rapidly to customers' homes. The company is training beauty professionals to be versatile "all-rounders" to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

To maintain hygiene and reduce waste, Snabbit uses specialized, lightweight beauty kits with single-use packaging. These kits feature premium products from brands such as O3+ and Rica.

Services Tailored for Women

Snabbit currently employs only female beauty professionals, who undergo extra training at dedicated centers. The service, promoted as "salon by women, for women," is designed to provide a comfortable and convenient experience for female customers. Prices start at a competitive Rs 49 with no minimum order, making the services accessible to a wide range of consumers.

Promising Pilot Results Drive Expansion

A six-week pilot in Bengaluru's Sarjapur area showed strong results, with more than 2,000 services delivered in under 15 minutes on average. This initial phase utilized 25 professionals and handled about 50 jobs daily, proving significant growth potential. These positive outcomes reinforce Snabbit's belief that beauty services can become a key growth area for its hyperlocal consumer services. Snabbit plans to add these new services to its main app and expand to other Bengaluru areas before considering new cities.
