Radico Khaitan Limited has unveiled its new premium Indian Single Malt whisky, named "Rampur 1943 Virasat." This high-end offering is priced between ₹3,500 and ₹4,500 per bottle and is initially available in selected states: Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Delhi.
Amar Sinha, Chief Operating Officer at Radico Khaitan, stated that the company aims to make the artistry of Indian single malts accessible to a broader audience, emphasizing quality and innovation from grain to barrel. The whisky is crafted from six-row Indian barley, distilled in newly designed pot stills, and undergoes a unique aging process. It is first matured in American Bourbon Barrels and then finished in Ruby Port Pipes. This process is influenced by the dramatic North Indian climate, ranging from hot summers to cold winters, contributing to its layered complexity.

Radico Khaitan is one of India's largest manufacturers of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL). With a history dating back to 1943, the company has evolved into a major player with a diverse portfolio including brands like 8 PM Whisky, Jaisalmer Indian Craft Gin, and Magic Moments Vodka. They operate distilleries and possess significant production capacity, exporting their products to over 100 countries.
