Radico Khaitan Shares Rise 2% Following Strong June Quarter Profit Growth

Radico Khaitan shares climbed 2.01% after the company reported a 26.98% jump in June quarter net profit to Rs 222.43 crore. Investors are also responding to a significant increase in the final dividend payout to Rs 9 per share for fiscal 2026.

Radico Khaitan shares moved up by 2.01% in Monday morning trading, reaching Rs 4,428.00. The rise follows the company’s latest financial disclosure for the quarter ending June 2026, which highlighted strong growth in both top-line revenue and bottom-line profitability.

Financial Performance Highlights

For the June quarter, the company recorded consolidated revenue of Rs 1,683.69 crore, marking an 11.97% increase compared to the previous quarter. Profitability saw a more significant improvement, with net profit rising by 26.98% to reach Rs 222.43 crore. This operational momentum was also evident in the company's full-year results for fiscal year 2026, where revenue grew by 24.72% year-on-year to Rs 6,050.43 crore.

From a balance sheet perspective, the company’s focus on improving financial health appears to be yielding results. The return on equity reached 18.23%, and the debt-to-equity ratio stood at a manageable 0.10. Additionally, cash generation from operating activities showed a sharp increase, rising to Rs 742 crore in March 2026, up from Rs 362 crore in the prior year. This improved cash flow position supports the company's decision to increase its dividend payout.

Dividends and Corporate Actions

Shareholders are set to receive a final dividend of Rs 9.00 per share, which was announced in May 2026 and became effective in late July. This represents a substantial increase from the Rs 4.00 per share paid in 2025. In other administrative updates, the company recently reminded shareholders about the process for transferring shares to the Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority, a standard regulatory compliance procedure for unclaimed dividends and associated shares.

Investor Monitorables

While the company has reported strong earnings and an improved balance sheet, investors often monitor the competitive dynamics within the Indian spirits industry. The company operates in a sector heavily influenced by state-level excise duty changes and fluctuating raw material costs, particularly for grain and glass. As the company continues its expansion, the market will likely track whether the current profit margin trends can be sustained amidst broader industry pressures. Future quarterly updates regarding brand performance in the premium segment and the impact of any changes in state liquor policies will be important for investors to follow.
