Page Industries plans for a double-digit volume growth recovery starting in the second quarter of FY27, after a modest 5.7% growth in the first quarter. While the company grew its revenue to ₹1,420 crore, rising material costs impacted profits. Investors are tracking the firm's margin management, product strategy, and a pending legal dispute in the UAE.
Page Industries is aiming for a rebound in volume growth, targeting a double-digit increase from the second quarter of FY27 onwards. This goal follows a slower start to the fiscal year, where the company recorded volume growth of approximately 5.7% in the first quarter. According to the company, this initial sluggishness was largely driven by temporary manpower and logistics challenges rather than a drop in consumer interest. Had it not been for these specific disruptions, the company indicated it would have likely hit its double-digit targets sooner.
Financially, the company reported a revenue of ₹1,420 crore for the first quarter of FY27, representing a 7.8% increase compared to the previous year. However, net profit for the same period saw a decline of roughly 3.5-4% due to pressure on profit margins. This margin compression was primarily caused by the rising costs of raw materials, such as cotton and synthetic fabrics. In response, the company has implemented a 2.2% price hike as of May 2026 to help protect its bottom line and has maintained its EBITDA margin target of 19-21% for the full year. The company remains debt-free, a factor that provides it with financial flexibility even while it navigates these cost challenges.
To drive future growth and improve average selling prices, Page Industries is focusing on its premium product categories. It has recently launched the 'Groove 3' collection, which includes modern styles like oversized tees and relaxed-fit trousers, aimed at younger customers. Additionally, the company has entered into a collaboration with Disney and Marvel to introduce character-themed loungewear and innerwear. The company also declared an interim dividend of ₹200 per share for the fiscal year, signaling continued cash returns to shareholders despite the recent profit dip.
Investors are also paying attention to a legal matter in the United Arab Emirates. Yellow Flower Trading LLC has filed a claim against Page Industries for approximately ₹300 crore, alleging that a distribution agreement was ended unlawfully. The company has publicly denied the merits of this claim and is contesting the proceedings in the Dubai Court. Because this is a legal issue involving a significant sum, it remains a point of interest for market observers monitoring the company's financial health.
The key focus for shareholders in the coming months will be whether the company can successfully return to its double-digit volume growth trajectory in the second quarter. Investors will also monitor the stability of profit margins amid volatile raw material costs and look for updates on the UAE litigation status in upcoming exchange filings.
