Dabur India Targets Double-Digit Revenue Growth by FY27

Dabur India has set a goal for double-digit consolidated revenue growth by FY27, supported by a 10.6% revenue rise in the June quarter. While rural demand remains resilient, the company faces headwinds from geopolitical tensions in the MENA region and rising input costs. Investors are also monitoring the impact of a regulatory transition regarding product label claims.

Dabur India has set a target to achieve double-digit consolidated revenue growth by the end of fiscal year 2027. This growth ambition follows a solid start to the current financial year, with the company reporting a 10.6% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue to ₹3,764 crore for the quarter ended June 2026. During the same period, net profit rose by 15% to ₹591 crore.

To reach this growth target, the company is relying on a combination of volume expansion and strategic pricing, supported by a robust performance in its premium product portfolio. Management noted that rural demand has remained resilient and is currently outperforming urban markets. As aspirations rise and digital adoption grows, the company expects these trends to support its long-term expansion plans.

However, the path to this growth involves navigating several complex challenges. Global CEO Mohit Malhotra has highlighted that the company's performance remains sensitive to geopolitical stability, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. These developments have caused supply chain disruptions, prompting the company to reinforce alternative supply routes and source products from different locations to maintain stability.

Persistent inflationary pressures also remain a factor for the business. Volatility in crude-linked raw materials and packaging costs has led the company to implement a balanced approach of price hikes and cost-efficiency measures to protect its profit margins.

Investors are also tracking the company's transition to new packaging following a directive from the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). The regulator had raised concerns regarding '100%' claims on certain product labels, and the company is currently in the process of adjusting its packaging to comply with these guidelines.

In the stock market, Dabur India shares have faced recent volatility and are trading near the ₹403–₹411 range, which is close to their 52-week low. The gap between the company's stated growth ambitions and the recent stock price movement is a key point of interest for market observers. Going forward, the primary factors for investors to monitor will be the execution of cost-efficiency strategies, the management’s ability to navigate geopolitical hurdles, and the pace of demand recovery in urban markets.
