Arvind Fashions Q2 Profit Rises 29% to ₹48 Crore

Arvind Fashions reported a 29% jump in net profit to ₹48.48 crore for the second quarter of FY27, supported by a 10% rise in revenue. The company’s focus on premium brands and direct-to-consumer sales drove the growth, alongside an expanding retail footprint.

Arvind Fashions Limited announced its financial performance for the quarter ending September 2026. The company reported a net profit of ₹48.48 crore, marking a 29.4% increase compared to the same period last year. Revenue from operations grew 10% year-on-year, reaching ₹1,559 crore.

Improving Operational Efficiency

The earnings quality showed improvement, with EBITDA rising 15.5% to ₹216.39 crore. Profit margins expanded to 13.88% during the quarter. This performance indicates that the company’s strategic shift toward higher-value premium brands, such as US Polo Assn and Calvin Klein, is helping it manage costs effectively despite a competitive retail environment.

Shift to Direct Sales

A major part of the company's business strategy is the pivot toward direct-to-consumer channels. These channels now contribute 53% of the total revenue, an increase of 380 basis points over the previous year. Online sales growth remains a key highlight, with the segment surging 45%. Physical expansion continues alongside this digital push, with 24 new exclusive brand outlets added during the quarter, bringing the total store count to 1,044.

Expansion and Corporate Developments

To support its growth, the company plans to add approximately 150 stores throughout the current fiscal year. Management is primarily using a franchise-owned and franchise-operated model to keep capital spending under control. In other corporate developments, the board has approved the ‘Performance-linked Stock Units Scheme – 2026’ to align employee incentives with company performance. The company also announced the acquisition of a 25% stake in Arvind Global Capability Center Private Limited to bolster its support infrastructure.

Future Monitorables

Investors may track demand trends in the coming quarters. While the company remains optimistic, management has noted that macroeconomic factors like inflation and interest rate volatility could influence consumer spending habits. The next important step will be watching the execution of the planned store openings and whether the company can maintain these profit margins as it scales its operations further.
