The Ministry of Steel has launched SARAL SIMS, a simplified registration system for steel imports, effective November 21. This initiative aims to streamline processes for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and exporters by offering a single annual registration number for smaller consignments and export-related imports, reducing the need for individual consignment registrations.
