Indian retail investors are significantly increasing their allocation to Gold and Silver Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). Assets for Gold ETFs surged from Rs 45,000 crore to Rs 1.02 lakh crore, and Silver ETFs from Rs 12,000 crore to Rs 42,000 crore in 2025. This trend reflects a move from physical metals to transparent, accessible ETFs, driven by market volatility and new investment products. Gold provides stability as a monetary asset, while silver offers growth potential due to its industrial demand.
