Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers and Chemicals (GNFC) has approved a significant expansion of its Ammonium Nitrate (AN) Melt project, adding 163,000 MTPA of new capacity. This 94% increase will bring total AN Melt availability to 338,000 MTPA by July 2027. The move reinforces GNFC's role as a key supplier for India's critical mining and infrastructure sectors, with substantial capital expenditure planned across integrated projects.
