Monarch Networth Forecasts Nifty 50 at 26,500 by Early 2027

Monarch Networth Capital expects the Nifty 50 to rise to 26,000–26,500 within five months, banking on a cooling in US Treasury yields. With the index hovering near 22,500, this target assumes a reversal in foreign capital outflows. Investors should note that the thesis relies on global macroeconomic shifts, while the domestic market currently faces pressure from high crude oil prices and ongoing foreign selling.

Monarch Networth Capital has issued a bullish outlook for the Nifty 50, projecting the index could reach a range of 26,000 to 26,500 over the next four to five months. The call comes at a time when the index is trading near the 22,500 level, struggling to find momentum amid a year of significant volatility and persistent selling by foreign institutional investors.

US Yields and Foreign Capital as Key Drivers

The brokerage's case rests on the movement of the US 10-year Treasury yield, which is currently at 5.35 percent. CEO Gaurav Bhandari argues that these yield levels are structurally high and that an expected decline in interest rates will weaken the dollar. This softening is viewed as the potential catalyst that could redirect global liquidity back into emerging markets, including India, and reverse the trend of heavy foreign outflows observed throughout the first nine months of 2026.

The thesis assumes that once global sentiment shifts, the combination of steady domestic inflows and a return of foreign capital could trigger a valuation re-rating. If the Nifty 50 reaches the projected 26,000–26,500 level, it would suggest a return to peak valuations, provided that the underlying earnings growth remains supportive.

Market Headwinds and Firm Context

However, investors should weigh this optimistic outlook against several persistent risks. The market is currently grappling with high crude oil prices, with Brent crude trading above $105 per barrel, which remains a significant threat to India’s import bill and inflation control. Furthermore, geopolitical tensions have kept market sentiment fragile, making the index sensitive to unexpected global shocks. The timing and speed of foreign capital returning to Indian equities are not guaranteed, and the index remains vulnerable if US yields stay elevated for longer than anticipated.

It is also useful to consider the financial context of the firm issuing this report. Monarch Networth Capital, which has a market capitalization of approximately ₹2,700 crore, operates in a competitive financial services sector. The company has faced challenges related to its working capital cycle, with debtor days recently reported at 196. This metric indicates that collecting payments from clients takes considerable time, a factor that can impact cash flow and financial flexibility. While this does not directly affect their market research, it is a piece of company-specific data that investors often track when evaluating the stability of financial firms.

The path toward the forecasted level will depend on whether US yields begin a downward trend and whether the Indian market can absorb further volatility until foreign investors potentially return. Monitoring monthly foreign institutional flow data and global bond yield movements will be essential for gauging the validity of this market outlook.
