Lenskart Shares Hit Record High, Up 98% From Listing Low

Lenskart Solutions reached a new all-time high of ₹703.85, marking a 98% recovery from its post-listing lows in November 2025. Brokerages maintain a positive outlook, citing the company's expanding store network and manufacturing integration. Investors are now tracking the execution of new capacity and competitive pressures.

Lenskart Solutions reached a fresh all-time high of ₹703.85 during trading on Friday, extending its rally to nearly 98% from the low point recorded shortly after its market debut in November 2025. The stock is now trading approximately 75% above its initial public offering price of ₹402 per share, drawing attention amid a broader market that has remained range-bound recently.

Brokerage Views and Market Growth

Several brokerage firms have reaffirmed their positive stance on the company, pointing to structural changes in the Indian optical retail sector. Analysts at ICICI Securities and Motilal Oswal Financial Services have highlighted the company's integrated manufacturing, omnichannel distribution model, and strong brand presence as key drivers. Jefferies also emphasized the potential for growth through expanding insurance-led eye care initiatives.

The core of the positive sentiment is the shift from unorganized retailers to organized, branded players. With rising disposable incomes and higher awareness of eye care, brokerages expect Lenskart to continue gaining market share. Several firms have upgraded their target prices, reflecting confidence in the company's ability to maintain high revenue growth.

Expansion and Manufacturing

Lenskart’s growth strategy centers on two pillars: store network expansion and manufacturing capability. As of the first quarter of FY27, the company operates 2,725 stores across India. Management continues to see significant room for further expansion, citing that optical retail in India remains less penetrated than other consumer retail categories.

To support this growth, the company currently holds a manufacturing capacity of around 25 million units. A new facility is under development in Hyderabad, which is expected to add further production scale. This vertical integration—owning the manufacturing process rather than relying solely on third parties—is often cited by analysts as a key business advantage that helps control quality and costs.

Key Monitorables for Investors

While the stock has seen a strong run, investors are focusing on the execution of these ambitious growth plans. One of the main points to track is the company's ability to maintain its profit margins while scaling up. Large expansions in manufacturing and retail space require significant capital, and keeping cash flow healthy while funding this growth will be essential.

Furthermore, competitive pressure remains a factor in the retail sector. While Lenskart has a large presence, peers like Titan Eyeplus also operate in the organized eyewear space, which keeps the pressure on pricing and customer acquisition costs. Whether the company can continue to deliver on its projected revenue and profit growth, while managing the execution risks of its new manufacturing plant in Hyderabad, will be the next major test for shareholders.
