GNG Electronics Hits Record High as Emkay Raises Target to ₹850

Shares of GNG Electronics surged to an all-time high of ₹776.25 following strong second-quarter results. Emkay Global increased its price target to ₹850, citing higher demand for refurbished devices. The company has also raised its full-year revenue guidance, though investors may track inventory management and valuation levels closely.

GNG Electronics shares reached a new all-time high of ₹776.25 on November 4, 2026, after the company reported a strong second-quarter performance. Following these results, brokerage firm Emkay Global raised its target price for the stock to ₹850, noting robust volume growth and improved profitability.

The company reported a 42% year-over-year jump in consolidated revenue to ₹625 crore for the second quarter of fiscal year 2027. Its operational performance was equally strong, with EBITDA doubling to ₹94 crore compared to the same period last year. Profit margins also widened to 15%, which was higher than initial expectations.

Management has increased its fiscal year 2027 revenue growth guidance to 40%, up from the previous estimate of 30%. This confidence stems from a shift in the electronics market, where rising costs for new laptops—which have increased by 80% over the past year—have pushed consumers toward more affordable, refurbished alternatives. The company's 'Electronics Bazaar' brand is currently benefiting from this trend.

While the growth outlook is positive, investors should be aware of specific business risks. The company operates in a sector that requires high working capital to maintain significant inventory levels. Managing this inventory efficiently is essential to ensure product availability and support sales. Additionally, any major shift in global memory or electronic component prices could impact margins, as the business is sensitive to supply chain fluctuations.

From a valuation perspective, the stock is currently trading at a high price-to-earnings (P/E) multiple, which is a key factor for investors to evaluate. The company is also in a phase of scaling its operations, which involves increasing headcount and setting up new facilities, creating operational risks if not managed effectively.

The most important monitorable for shareholders in the coming quarters will be the company’s ability to maintain its margin expansion while managing its inventory turnover and executing its ambitious growth plans in both domestic and international markets.
