Angel One Technical Report Highlights 3 Mid-Cap Stocks

Brokerage house Angel One has issued fresh technical outlooks for three Indian stocks, offering specific price targets for traders. The analysis includes positive setups for Aarti Industries and Blue Star, alongside a tactical sell view for Craftsman Automation. These recommendations rely on short-term price momentum and chart indicators rather than long-term business fundamentals.

Angel One has released a technical analysis report on October 16, 2026, offering short-term price targets and stop-loss levels for three prominent mid-cap stocks. Technical analysis focuses on chart patterns and price history to predict future movement, which differs from fundamental analysis that studies a company’s earnings and financial health.

Aarti Industries, a company in the specialty chemicals sector, is featured with a positive outlook in the report. The analysis highlights that the stock has found support at its 200-day simple moving average, which is the average price of the stock over the last 200 trading days. When a stock stays above this level, analysts often view it as a sign of long-term trend stability. The report also notes a bullish crossover on the 14-day Relative Strength Index, a tool used to measure if a stock is overbought or oversold. The analyst set a target price range of Rs 571 to Rs 575 with a suggested stop loss at Rs 459 to manage risk.

Blue Star, known for its presence in the air conditioning and commercial refrigeration sector, is also flagged for potential upside. The report points to the stock maintaining a demand zone between Rs 1500 and Rs 1530. A key indicator noted is the 20-day exponential moving average crossing above the 50-day average. Traders often watch for this pattern as it can signal a shift in short-term momentum. The analyst identified a target range of Rs 1678 to Rs 1680, with a stop loss at Rs 1515.

In contrast, the analysis suggests a tactical sell call for Craftsman Automation, an auto component manufacturer. While the report acknowledges that the company maintains a strong long-term uptrend, it suggests the current price has diverged from key moving averages. This recommendation is labeled as tactical, meaning it is intended for a short-term timeframe. The target range provided is Rs 11400 to Rs 11500, with a stop loss at Rs 10600.

Investors should note that technical recommendations are primarily designed for active traders who focus on short-term price fluctuations. These views do not necessarily change the long-term business outlook for these companies. Since technical levels change based on daily market moves, the validity of these targets and stop losses depends heavily on how the stock trades in the coming sessions. Investors using these signals should carefully track the recommended stop-loss levels to manage potential downside risks if the price action does not follow the predicted trend.
