Angel One Analyst Highlights Technical Setup for Siemens, Laurus Labs, BHEL

Hitesh Rathi, an analyst at Angel One, has identified positive momentum signals for Siemens, Laurus Labs, and BHEL based on recent chart patterns. While the analysis points to potential short-term breakouts, investors should consider that technical indicators are subject to market volatility. The analyst has provided suggested stop-loss levels for each stock to help manage potential downside risk.

Angel One analyst Hitesh Rathi has issued a research note focusing on the technical outlook for Siemens, Laurus Labs, and Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL). The report centers on momentum indicators and specific price chart breakouts that suggest potential strength in these stocks in the current market environment.

Siemens and BHEL Chart Patterns

Siemens is showing signs of a potential upward trend resumption following a period of minor price correction. The analyst highlights that technical indicators, specifically a double-top buy signal on medium-term charts, suggest a positive shift in price structure. For investors, Siemens remains a major player in industrial infrastructure and power automation, meaning the stock is often influenced by the broader demand for capital goods in the Indian economy.

BHEL, on the other hand, is noted for a breakout after spending nearly two months moving within a narrow price range. This consolidation phase had kept the stock performance relatively flat, but the analyst points to technical signs that the stock is ready to resume its previous growth phase. As a major Public Sector Undertaking in the power equipment and defence sectors, BHEL’s price action is often tied to the volume and timeline of government order execution.

Momentum in Laurus Labs

Laurus Labs has been flagged for its recent outperformance relative to the NIFTY 500 index. The stock, which operates in the pharmaceutical and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) space, recently touched an all-time high of Rs 1,903 on August 27, 2026. The analyst highlights a bullish pattern on daily charts and notes that the Relative Strength Index (RSI), a tool used to measure momentum, remains above 60, suggesting sustained buyer interest.

Understanding the Risks

It is important for investors to recognize that technical analysis is a method of studying past price and volume data to predict future movement, but it does not account for fundamental changes or unexpected market events. All three stocks face specific industry risks. For instance, pharmaceutical companies like Laurus Labs are frequently impacted by regulatory audits and pricing pressure in the API segment. Similarly, BHEL’s performance relies heavily on its ability to execute long-term projects without cost overruns, while Siemens' outlook is tied to industrial demand cycles.

To manage these risks, the analyst has provided suggested stop-loss levels. These are price points where the technical thesis might be considered invalidated if the stock falls below them. For Siemens, the suggested stop-loss is Rs 3,860. For Laurus Labs, it is set at Rs 1,776, and for BHEL, it is at Rs 399. Investors should use these levels as a reference for risk management rather than as guarantees of stock performance. The next important step for shareholders will be to monitor whether these stocks can maintain their breakout levels amid broader market volatility and future earnings announcements.
