Affle India reported a 21.7% profit growth to Rs 128.4 crore for the quarter ended June 2026. While ICICI Securities maintained its positive outlook with a Rs 2,000 target, investors are monitoring cost pressures and an auditor-flagged insolvency case involving an investee.
Affle India, a mobile advertising and marketing technology company, reported a steady performance for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2027. The company’s consolidated revenue for the period ending June 30, 2026, climbed 20.4% year-over-year to reach Rs 747.16 crore. This growth translated into a 21.7% increase in profit after tax, which stood at Rs 128.44 crore. Following the release of these results, ICICI Securities reiterated its buy recommendation on the stock, maintaining a target price of Rs 2,000.
The revenue growth was driven largely by the company’s core business model, known as CPCU or Cost Per Completed User. This model focuses on converting ad impressions into actual user actions. The company saw an increase in both the volume of these conversions and the rates charged for them. Geographically, while the Indian market remains a significant contributor, developed international markets showed signs of recovery, which analysts are watching closely to see if this trend continues.
Despite the top-line growth, the company faced some pressure on its profit margins. Data costs, which represent a significant expense in the ad-tech industry, rose by 230 basis points compared to the same period last year. However, Affle India managed to keep its EBITDA margin steady at 22.4% for the quarter. The ability to maintain these margins while investing in expansion will be a key area for investors to track in the coming quarters.
While the financial results show growth, the company’s recent filings included a note regarding a specific risk. Auditors have flagged a material uncertainty regarding the insolvency case of 'Bobble,' an investee company. This investment is carried on Affle India’s books at a value of Rs 135.83 crore. While the company has not booked any impairment or loss for this yet, the insolvency proceedings and the potential impact on the investment's value remain a significant point for shareholders to monitor.
Looking ahead, investor attention will likely shift toward two main areas. First, whether the recovery in developed markets can be sustained and how much it contributes to future profitability. Second, how the company manages rising data and inventory costs without diluting its margins. The resolution of the ongoing insolvency matter involving the Bobble investee will also remain a critical update to follow.
