Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARCs) are increasingly focusing on real estate, with nearly a quarter of their new acquisitions this year coming from the sector. This shift is fueled by rising property values, banks and NBFCs offloading stressed projects, and renewed viability of previously stalled developments, particularly in key cities like NCR, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. The trend is supported by a more conducive regulatory environment and the emergence of specialized investors.
