Prudent Corporate Advisory reported a 42.4% rise in operating profit for Q2 FY27, driven by strong equity sales and SIP inflows. The wealth manager expanded its equity mutual fund market share to 2.70% while growing its partner network. While operational efficiency improved margins, investors are monitoring valuation levels and recent price volatility as the stock trades below its August 2026 peak.
Prudent Corporate Advisory, a wealth management firm, delivered a strong performance for the quarter ending September 2026. The company reported an operating profit of ₹102.8 crore, marking a 42.4% increase compared to the same period last year. Revenue for the quarter rose by 21.6% to reach ₹388.7 crore. This growth in earnings was supported by improved operational efficiency, with operating margins expanding to 26.4% from 22.6% a year ago.
The firm’s core growth continues to stem from the retail investment segment. Equity mutual fund net sales for the quarter hit ₹4,138 crore, while the company’s monthly Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) book reached ₹1,272 crore. With a 3.7% market share in total SIP flows, the company is solidifying its footprint in the retail investment space. Additionally, its mutual fund business benefited from a 20.7% growth in quarterly average assets under management, and the insurance division saw a 46% surge in activity.
Prudent is aggressively scaling its distribution network. During the first half of FY27, the firm added 3,541 new channel partners, bringing its total network to nearly 40,000. Its Specialized Investment Fund (SIF) segment is also showing early traction, with assets under management in this category reaching ₹900 crore. The firm now operates across 165 locations in 21 states, supported by a team of over 1,700 employees.
While operating performance remained strong, net profit growth was slightly impacted by mark-to-market reversals in other income, where fluctuations in the value of the firm's own investments affected the bottom line. The company reported a net profit of ₹71.7 crore, up 33.9% year-on-year.
From a market perspective, the stock closed at ₹2,964.80 on the National Stock Exchange on Wednesday, reflecting a 2.89% gain. The stock is currently trading at a trailing price-to-earnings ratio of 48.69. Investors may note that the stock has seen volatility in recent months, trading well below its peak of ₹4,105.50 seen in August 2026. The key monitorables for the coming quarters will be the firm’s ability to maintain these margins as it continues to expand its partner network, the sustainability of SIP inflows amid shifting market conditions, and how fluctuations in other income impact overall profitability.
