Kotak Mahindra Bank Posts Strong Q3 Growth
Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. announced robust third-quarter financial results on Monday, marking significant growth in key banking metrics. The private sector lender reported that net advances escalated by 16.0% year-on-year, reaching ₹4,80,229 crore as of December 31, 2025. This figure represents a substantial leap from ₹4,13,839 crore in the same period last year.
The bank also saw healthy sequential growth, with net advances increasing by 3.8% from the previous quarter. Average net advances for the quarter grew 16.2% year-on-year, underscoring sustained lending activity and market penetration.
Deposit Base Expands Significantly
Customer deposits mirrored this growth trajectory. Total deposits surged 14.6% year-on-year to ₹5,42,638 crore by the end of December 2025, up from ₹4,73,497 crore a year earlier. Sequentially, deposits climbed 2.6%, demonstrating continued customer confidence and strong deposit mobilization efforts.
CASA (Current Account, Savings Account) deposits, a crucial source of low-cost funding, increased by 11.9% year-on-year to ₹2,24,199 crore. While showing only a marginal 0.2% rise over the previous quarter, the substantial annual growth in CASA deposits highlights the bank's ability to attract and retain stable customer funding.
