Meanwhile, Carnelian India Multi Strategy Fund exited a portion of its holding in Gaudium IVF amid a seven-day downward trend in the stock's price.
Institutional investors adjusted their portfolios on July 31 through several notable bulk deals, reflecting diverse strategies across the aerospace, healthcare, and infrastructure sectors. Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company entered the shareholding list of Rossell Techsys, an entity focused on engineering and manufacturing for the defense, aerospace, and semiconductor industries. The mutual fund house purchased 18.47 lakh shares, which equates to a 4.89% stake, at a price of ₹900 per share. Following this investment, Rossell Techsys shares rose by 3.34% to close at ₹954.10.
In the healthcare segment, Carnelian India Multi Strategy Fund reduced its position in Gaudium IVF and Women Health. The fund divested 5 lakh shares, representing a 0.68% stake, for a total value of ₹6.85 crore. The transaction was conducted at an average price of ₹137 per share. While the exit resulted in a significant return for the fund, with the sale price reported at approximately 73% above the initial acquisition cost of ₹79 per share, the company’s stock has faced consistent selling pressure. Shares of Gaudium IVF have hit a 2% lower circuit for seven consecutive trading sessions, marking a decline from the peak levels observed on July 22.
Separately, SageOne Investments continued to consolidate its presence in the infrastructure space through its SageOne-Flagship Growth OE Fund. The fund acquired an additional 0.58% stake in Belding India by purchasing 85,000 shares at ₹1,013.76 apiece, totaling ₹8.61 crore. The stock responded with a modest gain of 3.57%, closing at ₹1,019.90. In another transaction, Pentateam Inventure Capital Scheme I fully exited its investment in Sharvaya Metals, selling its 1.03 lakh shares for ₹1.33 crore at a price of ₹129.03 per share. These shares were absorbed by Milan Jayvantlal Mithani (HUF) and Hardik Milanbhai Mithani (HUF).
