The breach of Anthropic's Claude Mythos AI, a tool built to find software weaknesses, has alarmed global tech and finance communities. Reports suggest unauthorized access occurred via a third-party vendor, raising questions about the security of advanced AI systems. Anthropic is investigating the alleged incident. This prompted an urgent meeting led by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, with officials from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, and top bank executives.
