The outage is slated from the night of January 8 to January 10, 2026, as the lender undertakes a planned migration of its core banking system. This significant technical overhaul involves moving to a new platform named Finacle.

The downtime, commencing at 10 pm on January 8 and concluding at 11:59 pm on January 10, 2026, necessitates advance planning for customer transactions. This migration is a key component of Fino Payments Bank’s broader digital transformation strategy. The Finacle platform is expected to bolster the bank's technology infrastructure, enabling greater operational efficiency, improved system resilience, and enhanced scalability. The upgrade also promises faster product rollouts and stronger risk management capabilities.
Shares of Fino Payments Bank Ltd concluded Tuesday's trading session down 1.74% at ₹251.20 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
