Royal Enfield has officially unveiled the first teaser for its highly anticipated Bullet 650, signaling its global debut at EICMA 2025 in Milan on November 4. The teaser offers a glimpse of the instrument console and the distinctive sound of the Royal Enfield exhaust, heralding a new era for the brand's longest-running model line.
The Bullet 650 will expand Royal Enfield's successful 650cc motorcycle range, which currently includes the Interceptor, Continental GT, Shotgun, and Classic 650. It will retain iconic design cues such as the chrome headlight nacelle, hand-painted pinstripes, and metal tank badges, blending classic aesthetics with modern touches.
The instrument cluster appears to be the same digi-analogue unit found on the Classic 650, featuring an analogue speedometer and a small digital screen for the odometer and fuel gauge. Adjustable levers are visible, and the Tripper navigation pod is expected to be an optional accessory.
Underneath its classic exterior, the Bullet 650 is expected to utilize the 648cc parallel-twin engine from other Royal Enfield 650 models, producing around 47hp and 52.3Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper-assist clutch. The engine tune may be slightly softened to align with the Bullet's traditional, relaxed riding character.
Impact This launch is expected to boost Royal Enfield's sales figures by tapping into the demand for retro-styled motorcycles. It could also strengthen its position in the premium motorcycle segment, both in India and internationally, potentially influencing competitors to introduce similar heritage-inspired models. The Bullet 650's blend of nostalgia and modern performance is a key selling point. Rating: 7/10
