Escorts Kubota Limited has reported a positive sales performance for October 2025, with total tractor sales increasing by 3.8% to 18,798 units, up from 18,110 units sold in October 2024.
Domestically, sales climbed by 3.3%, reaching 18,423 units compared to 17,839 units in the previous year. The export segment experienced a significant surge of 38.4%, with 375 units sold in October 2025 against 271 units in the same month last year.
The company highlighted several key factors driving this growth. Increased demand was observed due to the early commencement of the festive season. Consistent government support for the agriculture sector, a reduction in the Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate, and favorable agricultural conditions, including ample water levels in reservoirs, also played a crucial role.
Despite extended rains causing some damage to harvested crops and impacting sowing in certain areas, Escorts Kubota remains optimistic about the industry's outlook. Stable demand is anticipated during the upcoming Rabi season, reinforcing a positive trajectory for the tractor market.
