Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) reported a significant 24% surge in total vehicle sales for March, selling 37,194 units compared to 29,998 units in the same month last year. This strong performance indicates robust consumer demand in the Indian automotive market.
Domestic and Export Growth
Domestic sales were a key driver, increasing by 24% to 35,125 units in March 2026 from 28,373 units in March 2025. Exports also grew by 24%, reaching 2,069 units compared to 1,670 units exported in the previous year.
Full Fiscal Year Performance
The strong March figures concluded a successful fiscal year for TKM. For the full fiscal year 2026 (FY26), total sales rose 20% to 406,081 vehicles. This was made up of 367,107 units sold domestically and 38,974 units in exports, an increase from the 337,148 vehicles sold in FY25. The company's consistent growth highlights its expanding market presence.
