Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) announced a significant 24% surge in total vehicle sales for March, selling 37,194 units compared to 29,998 units in the same month last year. This performance signals robust consumer demand in the Indian automotive market.

Domestic and Export Growth

Domestic sales contributed substantially to the year-on-year increase, rising by 24% to 35,125 units in March 2026 from 28,373 units in March 2025. Exports also mirrored this growth trajectory, climbing 24% to 2,069 units compared to 1,670 units exported during the prior year's equivalent period.

Full Fiscal Year Performance

The strong March results capped off a successful fiscal year for TKM. For the full fiscal year 2026 (FY26), total sales saw a 20% increase, reaching 406,081 vehicles. This cumulative performance was driven by 367,107 units sold in the domestic market and 38,974 units in exports, up from 337,148 vehicles sold in FY25. The company's consistent growth reflects its expanding market presence and product appeal.
