Bengaluru Centre Inauguration

Tesla has opened its fourth experience centre in Bengaluru's Whitefield area, deepening its commitment to the Indian market. The company entered India in July 2025 and previously established centres in Mumbai, Delhi, and Gurugram. Bengaluru is now a key strategic hub for the electric vehicle maker.

Sales Momentum and New Model Launch

Tesla has already sold over 340 vehicles in India, with the Model Y proving particularly popular. The company has now launched the 2026 Tesla Model Y L in India. This new 6-seater electric SUV is priced at ₹61.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It features a 2+2+2 seating layout with second-row captain seats, a 681 km driving range, and a taller body design for better third-row passenger comfort. Bookings are now open, with deliveries expected by June 2026.

Charging Infrastructure Growth

Tesla India is also investing in expanding its charging and service network to ensure a smooth ownership experience. The company currently has five Supercharger stations with 20 Superchargers and 14 Wall Connectors nationwide. Future plans involve building more Supercharger stations along major highways to link key cities like Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
