Tesla Opens Fourth India Experience Center in Bengaluru

Tesla has deepened its commitment to the Indian market by opening its fourth experience centre in Bengaluru's Whitefield area. This expansion follows the company's entry into India in July 2025. The new Bengaluru centre joins previous locations in Mumbai, Delhi, and Gurugram, positioning the city as a key strategic hub for the electric vehicle manufacturer.

Strong Sales Pace, New Model Y L Arrives

The company has already recorded sales of over 340 vehicles in India, with the Model Y lineup proving especially popular. To build on this momentum, Tesla has launched the 2026 Tesla Model Y L in India. This new 6-seater electric SUV is priced at ₹61.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It features a flexible 2+2+2 seating configuration with captain's chairs in the second row, a driving range of 681 km, and an extended body design to improve third-row passenger comfort. Bookings for the Model Y L are now open, with initial deliveries expected by June 2026.

Tesla Builds Out India Charging Network

To support its growing customer base, Tesla India is significantly investing in its charging and service infrastructure. The company currently operates five Supercharger stations nationwide, offering access to 20 Superchargers and 14 Wall Connectors. Future plans aim to establish Supercharger stations along major highways to connect key metropolitan areas across the country, including Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
