TVS Motor Company unveiled the new Norton 450 at EICMA 2026, aiming for 30% of revenue from international markets by 2030. The stock rose 2.14% as the company announced new European models alongside a strong Q2 performance with a 44% jump in revenue.
TVS Motor Company shares closed at ₹4,303.20 on November 3, 2026, marking a 2.14% increase following the company's showcase at the EICMA 2026 exhibition in Milan. The Indian automaker unveiled the Norton 450 Urban Roadster, a premium model expected to launch in 2027, along with four other production-ready vehicles: the TVS Orbiter, M1-S, X, and RTR 125. This expansion is a key step in the company's strategy to derive 30% of its total revenue from international business by 2030.
This growth plan is supported by the company’s strong financial performance. In the second quarter of the 2027 financial year, TVS Motor reported revenue of ₹17,103 crore, which is a 44% increase compared to the same period last year. Profit after tax also saw a significant rise of 52%, reaching ₹1,377 crore. This financial strength provides the company with the necessary capital to scale its retail network across European nations like Italy, Spain, and Germany.
The company is also undergoing structural and leadership changes to prepare for its next phase of growth. The board has approved the demerger of its consumer finance, leasing, and investment businesses into a separate entity called Harita ARC Limited. Additionally, the company is set for a leadership transition, with Peyman Kargar scheduled to take over as Director and Chief Executive Officer on January 27, 2027.
While the expansion highlights growth, it also brings specific challenges for investors to monitor. Competing in the European market involves going up against established global two-wheeler brands that already have deep roots in the region. The success of this international push depends on how well the new product platforms, such as the H-series, are accepted by European riders. Furthermore, scaling a retail network in diverse markets like Germany and France involves execution risks that could impact profit margins if costs rise faster than sales.
Investors will likely look for updates on the commercial launch of the Norton 450 and the progress of the retail network expansion in the coming quarters. The market will also keep an eye on how the upcoming leadership transition and the ongoing demerger process affect the company's operational focus.
