Ola Electric Slashes Scooter Price to Rs 49,999 to Spur EV Adoption
Overview

Ola Electric is pushing electric mobility with its '#EndICEAge' campaign, offering scooters starting at Rs 49,999. The promotion, valid until March 31, 2026, includes up to Rs 50,000 in benefits, same-day service, assured buyback, and extended warranties. This aims to accelerate the shift from petrol vehicles.

Aggressive Price Offensive

Ola Electric has launched a major campaign targeting petrol vehicle owners, making electric scooters more accessible. The offer includes the S1 X (2kWh) and Roadster X (2.5kWh) models starting at an aggressive Rs 49,999. This price point aims to directly compete with entry-level petrol scooters, a segment that has long dominated the Indian market.

The #EndICEAge campaign extends benefits of up to Rs 50,000 across its S1 scooters and Roadster motorcycles. This strategic pricing is designed to make electric ownership more appealing and accessible than ever before. The limited-time offer is scheduled to conclude on March 31, 2026.

Enhanced Ownership Benefits

Beyond the initial price reduction, Ola Electric strengthens customer confidence with several guarantees. Key is the Service Trust Guarantee, promising same-day service resolution for over 80% of cases, according to the company. Delays will be compensated with complimentary Ola cab vouchers.

Additionally, an assured buyback value of up to 60% is offered to ease upgrade concerns. To further support owners, Ola Electric is now offering an extended warranty of up to eight years on all Ola S1 scooters and Roadster motorcycles. This aims to reduce long-term maintenance worries and shows the company's commitment to reliability in the growing Indian EV market.
