The CLA BEV is built on Mercedes-Benz's new Modular Architecture (MMA) platform, marking a key step in the company's electric vehicle plans for India.
Long Range and Rapid Charging
Customers can choose from three variants: the CLA 200 'Standard Range' with up to 542 km, the CLA 250+ 'Long Range' achieving up to 792 km (WLTP), and a special 'Launch Edition'. Long-range models offer fast DC charging, adding up to 400 km (for CLA 250+) or 320 km (for CLA 200) of range in just 20 minutes using a 240 kW charger.
Next-Generation Digital Cabin
It is the first vehicle in India to feature Mercedes-Benz's MB.OS operating system, running on NVIDIA-based computing. This system powers advanced AI features, including a virtual assistant with ChatGPT-4 integration, Microsoft Bing, and electric route planning through Google Maps, all managed by four core computers for a smooth user experience.
Ownership Perks and Charging Access
To support owners, Mercedes-Benz India offers access to its MB.CHARGE Public network, covering over 9,000 charging points across the country. Ownership packages include financing with EMIs from ₹62,000, an assured 59% buyback, an introductory interest rate of 6.99%, and four-year service plans starting at ₹60,000.
Battery Assurance and Market Strategy
The company is also offering a unique High Voltage Battery Report, providing transparency on battery health via diagnostics at authorized service centers. With an 8-year/160,000 km warranty on the battery, the CLA BEV is positioned to strengthen Mercedes-Benz's standing in India's growing premium electric vehicle market.
