Most remarkably, the company achieved its latest 1 crore sales milestone in a record time of just 6 years and 4 months, indicating strong demand and efficient operations.

Top Performing Models: Among the 3 crore vehicles sold, the Maruti Suzuki Alto has been the most popular model, with sales exceeding 47 lakh units. Other top performers include the Wagon R, with approximately 34 lakh units sold, and the Swift, which has sold over 32 lakh units. Compact SUVs like the Brezza and Fronx are also among the company's top ten best-selling vehicles.

Future Outlook: Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki India, commented on the achievement, stating, "With car penetration at approximately 33 vehicles per 1,000 people, we know our journey is far from over." He emphasized the company's commitment to continuing its efforts to bring the joy of mobility to more people.

The company delivered its first vehicle, the iconic Maruti 800, to a customer on December 14, 1983. Today, Maruti Suzuki offers a diverse portfolio of over 170 variants across 19 models.
