Electric passenger vehicle retail sales in India increased by 57% in October, reaching 18,055 units compared to 11,464 units in the same month last year. Tata Motors maintained its lead, selling 7,239 units. MG Motor India and Mahindra & Mahindra also saw significant growth, with sales of 4,549 and 3,911 units respectively. The two-wheeler segment also experienced growth, with total sales of 1,43,887 units.
