Hero MotoCorp has appointed its Chief Quality Officer, Mr. Manish Srivastava, to its Senior Management team. The elevation takes effect on April 1, 2026.
This strategic move places the quality function at a higher leadership level, underscoring its critical role in operational excellence and brand reputation. The company, recognized as the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer, reported FY25 revenue of INR 40,756 crore and a net profit of INR 4,610 crore, highlighting the scale of its operations.
The appointment signals Hero MotoCorp's strategic focus on product reliability and customer satisfaction as key drivers for maintaining market leadership. It aims to ensure quality considerations are integrated into top-level decision-making processes.
Mr. Srivastava's background as Head of Service at Hero MotoCorp provides him with valuable operational insights relevant to his enhanced role. This appointment follows other recent leadership shifts, including the upcoming CEO transition with Harshavardhan Chitale taking over on January 5, 2026.
The company has also faced regulatory attention. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has been reviewing a probe report concerning alleged corporate governance lapses and fund diversion, with no final conclusion as of March 2025. Separately, Chairman Pawan Munjal was subject to an Enforcement Directorate (ED) raid in August 2023 related to a money laundering case. A tax probe concerning a vendor's expenditure reporting has also been noted.
This structural change reinforces Hero MotoCorp's focus on maintaining and enhancing product quality and its brand reputation.
