Ashok Leyland is set to launch a new range of heavy-duty diesel trucks, signaling optimism for industry growth. The company, led by MD and CEO Shenu Agarwal, is also enhancing R&D to speed up market response and regulatory compliance. Beyond diesel, Ashok Leyland is expanding its electric truck and bus offerings, alongside exploring CNG, LNG, and hydrogen technologies. Significant upgrades to bus body-building capacity are also underway, aiming to double output to over 20,000 units annually. The company foresees strong growth in the commercial vehicle sector for the remainder of the fiscal year.
