Tesla to Open Hyderabad Sales and Service Center

Electric vehicle leader Tesla is set to establish a sales and service center in Hyderabad, according to a statement from the Telangana government.

Representatives from Tesla India met with Telangana IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu on Friday. This meeting confirmed the company's intention to expand its presence in the Indian market. The state government noted Hyderabad's strong environment for electric vehicles and advanced technologies, including semiconductor design, automotive software, and electronics engineering.

Minister Babu congratulated Tesla India General Manager Sharad Agarwal and Lead Public Policy and Business Development Director Rajat on choosing Hyderabad for their next expansion. He mentioned that this decision follows Tesla's opening of four showrooms in other parts of India. The minister also encouraged Tesla to consider opportunities for related industries within Telangana and assured them of full government support for technology and industrial investments.
