PM-KISAN 24th Instalment Date: Government Yet to Confirm Schedule

The Union government has not yet announced the release date for the 24th instalment of the PM-KISAN scheme. Beneficiaries are advised to ensure their e-KYC and land records are up-to-date to avoid potential payment delays. The previous 23rd instalment was disbursed on June 20, 2026.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has not officially announced the date for the 24th instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme as of October 6, 2026. With the 23rd tranche having been credited to eligible farmers on June 20, 2026, many beneficiaries are monitoring the government's updates for the next transfer of ₹2,000.

While the scheme generally follows a three-instalment cycle annually, the specific dates for transfers can vary based on administrative readiness and data verification. Because this is a direct government benefit transfer program, it does not have listed shares or corporate earnings. However, the disbursement of these funds is often tracked as a barometer for rural consumption patterns, as it puts liquidity directly into the hands of farming families.

To ensure there is no interruption in receiving the upcoming payment, the government has emphasized the need for mandatory compliance. This includes the successful completion of e-KYC (Know Your Customer) processes, linking bank accounts with Aadhaar, and ensuring that land record data is accurately seeded in the official database. Discrepancies in these records, such as mismatches in name or land ownership details, are the most frequent reasons for payment failure.

The scheme strictly excludes those who do not meet specific eligibility criteria, including institutional landholders, individuals who pay income tax, and those holding high constitutional posts. State and Union Territory governments play a primary role in the identification and verification process before the final lists are uploaded to the central portal.

Farmers and stakeholders monitoring this development are advised to rely only on the official PM-KISAN portal for status checks and dates, rather than social media updates. The 'Know Your Status' feature on the portal allows beneficiaries to verify if their e-KYC is complete and if their bank accounts are ready to receive the funds. The next key update will be the official release date announcement from the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, which will initiate the electronic transfer to millions of registered farmers across the country.
