Sarla Aviation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh government to establish a 500-acre manufacturing campus for electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. The initial investment is set at Rs 1,300 crore, with plans to create a 'giga campus' capable of producing up to 1,000 aircraft annually. The facility aims to support future air-taxi operations across South India by 2029.
