Domestic passenger traffic reached 39.2 million, while international travel accounted for 16.3 million passengers. Top Destinations and Airlines

For international journeys, the Middle East remained the most popular region, with Dubai drawing the highest share at 15%, followed by another Dubai figure at 7.5% and London also at 7.5%. Domestically, Delhi led with 17% of all passenger traffic, followed by Bengaluru at 10% and Goa at 6%. IndiGo, Air India, and Emirates were key carriers for overseas routes, while IndiGo, Air India, and Akasa Air dominated domestic travel.

Peak Travel Periods

January 2025 emerged as the busiest month, with nearly 5 million passengers passing through CSMIA. November 2025 was also exceptionally strong, recording about 4.9 million passengers and featuring three of the year's busiest travel days. The October to December quarter posted the highest quarterly passenger traffic, underscoring the significant year-end travel surge.
