Overview

Maruti Suzuki India has teamed up with Indian Oil Corporation to set up vehicle service facilities at fuel retail outlets across India. This strategic partnership aims to enhance customer convenience by offering routine maintenance and repairs at IOCL's extensive network of over 41,000 fuel stations, expanding Maruti Suzuki's service reach.

Maruti Suzuki India announced a significant collaboration with Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) on Monday, establishing vehicle service facilities at select IOCL fuel retail outlets nationwide.

Expanding Customer Convenience

The initiative allows customers to access routine maintenance, minor repairs, and major servicing directly at fuel stations. This move aims to make car care more accessible and convenient, particularly in locations where dedicated service centers might be scarce. Maruti Suzuki highlighted that this partnership will bolster its already substantial service network, which currently comprises over 5,780 touchpoints across 2,882 cities.

Leveraging Unmatched Reach

Ram Suresh Akella, Executive Officer (Service) at Maruti Suzuki India, stated the company will leverage Indian Oil's extensive presence to bring after-sales services closer to customers' frequent haunts. He described the collaboration as a crucial step in integrating the mobility and energy sectors for superior customer experiences.

A Win-Win for Energy and Auto Sectors

Saumitra P Srivastava, Director (Marketing) at Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL), affirmed the company's commitment to enhancing customer experience at fuel stations through value-added services. With over 41,000 fuel stations across India, IOCL is well-positioned to integrate essential automotive maintenance alongside its energy offerings, a strategic move to diversify revenue and customer engagement.
