RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has been awarded a work order by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to construct a greenfield data centre for Ethiopia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The project, located in Addis Ababa, is a key component of India’s support for Ethiopia’s Digital Ethiopia Strategy.

Project Scope and Timeline
The data centre construction is scheduled for completion within one year. Post-operationalization, RailTel will provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services for a duration of three years, ensuring sustained functionality.
