Kolkata: Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a subsidiary of Tata Power, has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the esteemed Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCC&I). This significant partnership is geared towards accelerating the adoption of rooftop solar energy solutions among the vital micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) operating within the state of West Bengal.
The collaboration is set to launch comprehensive awareness and outreach initiatives targeting key industrial sectors across West Bengal. TPREL highlighted that its dedicated rooftop solar division, Tata Power Solaroof, has already made substantial contributions to West Bengal's renewable energy landscape. The company has successfully facilitated the installation of over 85 Megawatt peak (MWp) of rooftop solar capacity across the state. This achievement was made possible through a robust network of more than 20 channel partners, ensuring localized engagement and efficient execution within various industrial clusters.
