ITC Hotels announced Tuesday the allotment of leasehold land at the India International Convention and Exhibition Centre Limited's Yashobhoomi complex in Dwarka, New Delhi. The agreement signifies a long-term commitment to developing a significant hospitality asset in the nation's capital.
Enhancing Yashobhoomi's Global Standing
The acquired land is earmarked for a premium 5-star hotel, which will feature contemporary banqueting facilities and diverse culinary experiences. This development is strategically designed to elevate Yashobhoomi's stature as a premier international destination capable of hosting large-scale conventions, conferences, exhibitions, and marquee events.
MICE Sector Boost
ITC Hotels Managing Director Anil Chadha highlighted Yashobhoomi as a "gamechanger" for the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry. He noted the venue's success in hosting numerous trade shows and major conventions. Chadha pledged that ITC Hotels would invest fully to create a world-class hospitality offering, showcasing its renowned culinary and service excellence to a global clientele.

The new hotel will further strengthen ITC Hotels' presence in the Delhi National Capital Region. The company currently operates 10 properties with a combined inventory of 1,599 keys across its various brands, including ITC Hotels, Welcomhotel, and Fortune.
