RIL's Ajio Supercharges Delivery: 420 Pincodes Now Covered for Quick Commerce
Overview

Reliance Retail's fashion arm, Ajio, has significantly ramped up its quick commerce operations, expanding Ajio Rush to 420 pincodes across 10 cities. The company also enhanced its next-day delivery service to 26 cities. This aggressive push into faster logistics targets urban consumers and intensifies competition with rivals like Myntra and Nykaa.

Ajio Rush Expansion

Reliance Industries Ltd's (RIL) fashion and lifestyle arm, Reliance Retail, has aggressively expanded its quick commerce service, Ajio Rush. By the end of the December 2025 quarter (Q3 FY26), the company had scaled the service to 420 pincodes across 10 major cities in India. This move signifies a deeper commitment to rapid delivery for fashion products.

Next-Day Delivery Boost

Further bolstering its logistics network, Ajio also extended its next-day delivery service to the top 26 cities. This expansion is designed to significantly shorten delivery times for fashion orders in large urban markets, where speed has become a crucial differentiator for customer loyalty. Ajio Rush directly challenges established players such as Myntra Now and Nykaa Now.

Strategic Investments

The expansion aligns with Reliance Retail's increased investments in hyperlocal fulfillment and advanced logistics. Ajio is working to reduce delivery distances by expanding its darkstore count, enabling faster fulfillment than traditional e-commerce models. Concurrently, Reliance Retail's quick commerce grocery vertical, JioMart Quick, is achieving a daily order rate of 1.6 million, demonstrating broad success in rapid delivery across its portfolio.
