EbixCash partners with Lotus India Pay to introduce the Legend Card, a co-branded prepaid product. Available in virtual and physical formats, it targets digitally savvy consumers for seamless transactions across various platforms, enhancing payment convenience and offering exclusive benefits.

EbixCash Expands Payment Portfolio with Legend Card

EbixCash, a major player in India's digital financial services, has partnered with Lotus India Pay to launch a new co-branded prepaid card. The Legend Card, unveiled on January 6, 2026, is designed to simplify payments for consumers across a wide array of merchant outlets and digital platforms.

Versatile Transaction Capabilities

The open-loop card supports transactions through point-of-sale terminals, e-commerce websites, QR-based payments, and UPI-linked usage. It offers both virtual and physical formats, allowing users instant access to a virtual card for online purchases upon completing digital onboarding. A physical card option is available for in-store transactions.

Enhanced Security and User Experience

Security features include real-time transaction alerts and the ability to instantly block or unblock the card. Users can also configure their spending limits. Sharan Pardeshi, AVP of Product & Alliance at EbixCash World Money, stated the launch strategically expands the company's prepaid portfolio to meet routine and high-frequency payment demands.

Strategic Partnership Drivers

Bhavin Dedhia, Founder of Lotus India Pay, noted the partnership aims to boost customer engagement through a seamless payment solution. Lotus India Pay, which specializes in recurring payment solutions and was acquired by Juspay in February 2024, brings its expertise to the collaboration. EbixCash operates an extensive network of over 650,000 outlets across India, offering a broad range of financial services.
