नवीन पॉवर प्लांटसाठी ऑपरेटिंगची परवानगी

Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd (GPIL) ने नवीन 6.91 MW क्षमतेच्या वेस्ट हीट रिकव्हरी (WHR) पॉवर प्लांटसाठी ऑपरेटिंगची परवानगी (Consent to Operate) मिळाल्याची घोषणा केली आहे. छत्तीसगडमधील रायपुर येथे स्थित हा प्लांट एप्रिल २०२६ च्या अखेरीस व्यावसायिक कामकाज सुरू करण्यासाठी सज्ज आहे.

या प्लांटची ट्रायल रन 2 एप्रिल 2026 रोजी अधिकृतपणे सुरू झाली आहे. GPIL च्या ऊर्जा कार्यक्षमता (energy efficiency) आणि पर्यावरणीय टिकाऊपणा (sustainability) वाढवण्याच्या प्रयत्नांमध्ये हे एक महत्त्वाचे पाऊल आहे. स्टील प्लांटमधून निर्माण होणाऱ्या वेस्ट हीटचा (waste heat) वापर करून, GPIL ऊर्जा वापर ऑप्टिमाइझ (optimize) करण्याचा आणि पर्यावरणीय पाऊलखुणा कमी करण्याचा मानस ठेवते.
